Pioneers

In my life I have come across innumerable publications, articles, magazines and encyclopaedias dealing with music. Many of them dealing with the origins of music and the pioneers that started certain music styles. For many years I have considered these articles/writings to be true but after my long researches I have come to the conclusion that many of them lack the hard evidence needed to propose and suggest such topics.

 

Many artists/musicians who have been credited as the pioneers of certain genres turned out to be simple followers or even imitators of the actual pioneers. In the chapters that will follow, we will present data and evidence that may alter our ideas and knowledge.
